    Description

    This is a pretty strip of cotton, dusty rose in color with white printed flowers.  The strip is 1.5" wide and the roll is 5 inches in diameter.  I would guess about 20 yards, but I have no way to measure it.  I assume it is for rag rug making.  I unrolled 5 yards of it and never found a cut end, so I think the roll is one long, continuous strip.  It is wound on a heavy cardboard core and looks like it was cut off at the factory from a full roll as it was being manufactured.  One edge is clean cut, the other looks like a soft loom end.
    I picked this up in an estate lot of sewing items in the Midwest at least 20 years ago.
